Burgandy Williams
Burgandy Williams is an Atlanta, Georgia native coming from a long line of singers including grandfather James Williams of “The Gospel Hummoniers” and father Kenneth Williams SR. of “Atlanta’s Own”. Burgandy has always had a passion for sining and attended the prestigious North Atlanta High School of Performing Arts, where her formal training began. Training under the renowned opera singer Alteouise Austin at Morris Brown College solidified her confidence and set her entertaining the masses. Burgandy’s talents reach from the sound stage to the main stage in singing and acting. She has sung for foreign consulates in Paris, Korea and Kuwait. Burgandy has had feature roles in “The King of Glory” at the Atlanta Civic Center, the ground breaking production of “Jesus Christ Super Star Gospel” at the Alliance Theater and in “The Martin Luther King Jr’s Monumental Memories at Constitution Hall in Washington DC. Burgandy has opened for “Babyface” in concert. After a very competitive run on the UK's smash hit X Factor Burgandy returned to the US and is now taking over stages all around NYC. You can find Burgandy on the legendary stages of Cafe Wha, Apollo Theater regularly and along side legendary artists at Ashford & Simpson's Sugar Bar. These days she has turned her sights to the lights of Broadway, watch out for this rising star!
